  • Question
If I can't find dental glue, is there any other type of glue that I can use?
    Community Answer
If you can find a non-toxic and edible glue, it is possible. Dental glue is recommended.
  • Question
Is there any other alternative for the dental wax, as it is not easily available in my area?
    Community Answer
Sugar free chewing gum. Roll it in your hands until it warms and you can easily mold it just as you would with dental wax. This would only last for a bit of time as the gum melts. If you can find beeswax, use that instead. You'll need to make a cylindrical shape that will fit over your tooth. Shave and cut the cylinder with an Exacto knife to the fang shape you want, then cut a hole large enough through the top to fit your tooth and bracket. This will last longer but no more than a day.
  • Question
Is it okay to use nail glue on my teeth?
    Community Answer
No! It is only for nails, not for teeth.
  • Question

    Community Answer
No, do not sharpen your real teeth in any way.
  • Question
Can I make fangs with air dry clay?
    Community Answer
No, it will get wet and could become slimy as a result. It also has to be nontoxic which may be hard to find.
  • Question
    Are any of these permanent?
    Community Answer
No, all methods are fairly easily removable. For the nail and the custom fangs, a small tug should pop them out.
  • Question
Could I use toothpaste to stick it onto my teeth?
    Community Answer
No, you should use dental wax for that.
  • Question
Where can I get all of the supplies?
    Community Answer
Check at beauty supply stores, grocery stores, hobby shops, or online vendors if you don't want to leave the house.
  • Question
Are there any other ways to create Vampire Fangs?
    Community Answer
You can try making paper fangs, though it probably won't last as long if you don't waterproof it with tape or something like that. I would also recommend using thick paper, or gluing a few regular pieces of paper on top of each other. I would tape the paper before cutting it as well.
  • Question
How do I attach the straw method?
    Community Answer
To attach the straw fangs, you slip the straw over your tooth.
  • Question
Do most of the fangs stay in longer than 3 hours?
    Community Answer
You'd be uncomfortable well before the 3-hour mark.
  • Question
Is there a way to stick them on without dental wax or bees wax or bubble gum?
    Community Answer
You can use the same mold from mouth guards.
  • Question
Would cotton fangs become soggy in my mouth?
    Community Answer
More than likely, as your saliva would moisten the cotton. I suggest using another method. Most of the other ones will last longer, and would look better than cotton fangs.
  • Question
If I pull off my fangs (the ones with the dental glue stuff), could my teeth come out with them?
    Community Answer
No, dental adhesive is meant for (temporarily) adhering things to your teeth. As long as you use it as directed, there is no danger of losing any teeth.
  • Question
What if I want to find a real way to sharpen my teeth into cobra fangs?
    Community Answer
This is not a good idea. You can permanently damage your tooth structure, enamel, roots, and nerves. Speak to a dentist before attempting any modification on your teeth.
  • Question
Are there any other methods I can use to make vampire fangs?
    Community Answer
If you get nontoxic plastic beads and melt them in hot water, you can mold them on your teeth. Rinsing the mold with cold water will harden them to the point where you can pop them off comfortably.
  • Question
How do I make cotton ball fangs?
    Community Answer
Roll the cotton into triangles, or get some scissors and cut a triangle.
  • Question
Can I use these while biting my partner during sex?
    Community Answer
As long as you have her consent and don't hurt her, then yes.
  • Question
Can you add even more ways?
    Community Answer
Store bought vampire teeth only cost about $2, so just buy them if none of these methods appeal.
  • Question
What if I don't have dental wax, beeswax, chewing gum or anything else?
    Community Answer
You can use the straw technique, but if you don't have that then you could try a drugstore and get some $5 fake ones. However, those have the mold and it's hard to make them mold onto your teeth, so I'd use the straw unless you have a drugstore near you.
  • Question
If I have yellow-ish teeth, is there any way to darken the fake nail as opposed to whitening my teeth?
    Community Answer
You could use non-toxic paint, although it might be difficult to achieve the exact shade you need.
  • Question
Can I use chewing gum to make vampire fangs?
    Community Answer
I do not think so. Gum would very easily fall off and wouldn't hold its shape very well either.
  • Question
Can I use nail polish and clay on my teeth?
    Community Answer
No! Nail polish should only be put on hair and fingernails, and clay would not adhere well. Just buy a pair of fangs.
  • Question
What should I do if I don't have a white straw?
    Community Answer
Go buy some, or you can use a different method.
  • Question
Is there a method to make fangs other than the one in the article?
    Community Answer
You could use some non-toxic play-dough and stick it on with bubble gum to help with the bad taste.
  • Question
I'm a kid. What do I do if my parents won't buy these things for me?
    Community Answer
If you have money, you may be able to buy a prepaid visa gift card or something similar which can be used to buy supplies online. You could also consult friends to see if they have more lenient parents.
  • Question
Will this work with false teeth?
    Community Answer
Not unless you have dentures specifically made to have fangs.
  • Question
Does denture adhesive powder work the same way as denture glue?
    Community Answer
Well, I did try to use denture adhesive, and though the teeth do stick, they are really easy to fall out. The glue in denture adhesive simply can't handle the stress the vampire teeth are submitted to.
  • Question
Could I use clay that needs to be baked for my fangs
    Community Answer
Yes, you probably can, just look at the packaging of the clay and make sure it says "non-toxic."
  • Question
Can I eat while wearing the vampire teeth made using method 1?
    Community Answer
No. I tried it and they popped out. Try eating jello or applesauce until you get home then you can pop them out and eat regular food.
