In one of the parts of the instructions, a fellow with the name of "Joe" is mentioned. Just out of curiosity, I was wondering who this "Joe" character is?

From the pictures, it looks as though he is a player, and has a score of four. He is clearly losing to Jim, and I hope he gets better at the game soon, or Jim will definitely win.

Can it be a hard game?
    Community Answer
That would make it more satisfying to win. But in order to keep players from becoming frustrated, shoot for a balance between challenging and difficult.

  • Question
I want to create a card game like those on casinos but I don't know how to code. Can you suggest a free platform so I can start up my idea?
    Community Answer
You can use Unity. It does not require a lot of programming experience and it's free. You can use Unity's visual programming language which is not a normal programming language, you code from blocks. If you get used to it, you can try programming with real code like C# (C-sharp) which is the language that Unity provides. Many games have been made with Unity, e.g. Among Us, Free Fire, Fall Guys and this list goes on. It is the best and the most popular game engine among indie developers and big studios.
  • Question
Can my game, the Oregon Trail, have a board and how should I make the game work?

    Community Answer
The board would not really make it fit into the card games category. A good suggestion is to link some sort of mechanic with the cards. You could also take references from Monopoly, the game of Life, Sorry, or other board games.

You could use social media or start a website. Try telling friends and family first and see if they like the game. If you play card games a lot, and against different people, try and show them your new card game. If they like it, they will probably try and play it again.
