You could take inspiration from this: "Goodbye _______ (students, team, friends, etc.). It has been fun getting to know you guys so well and doing what I love. I'm sad that this day has come and I know that everyone in this room is great at what they do. I have no doubt that you all will become very successful."

    Community Answer
If you are a student giving a farewell speech to your peers then a good start may be... "I am here to say farewell, to these marvellous students whom I have looked up to and have helped me through school. I am sure they have helped some of you in some way as well..." If a teacher though..."I am here to say farewell, to these marvellous students who have striven for excellence through their entire journey through school. I will miss them, as I am sure many of you will too..."
