  • Question
If you have been 'killed,' is it best to actually act as if you're dead by lying on the ground, or should you just sit somewhere so someone can ask if you're dead?

  • Question
What if I have only three people to play with?
    Community Answer
You will have a hard time playing Murder in the Dark with only three people. The problem is, if one person is "murdered", the third person will easily be able to figure out who the murderer is. To win, the murderer has to get both other players in just one round. Otherwise, he loses by simple process of elimination.
  • Question
Can it be played with 10 people?

Sure. One murderer, one detective, and the rest are randoms. The detective has to go out of the room, and when someone yells, "MURDER IN THE DARK!" the detective comes in and guesses who the murderer was.

Yes, if you are the host of the game, you can choose the characters.
