  • Question
What do you do with the jokers?
    Community Answer
Jokers in a deck of cards are there for you to replace a card incase you lose one. For example, if you lose your queen of hearts card, you can use a joker by writing "queen of hearts" on it. Until a joker is needed, you should just leave it in the box so they are there when they are needed.
  • Question
Can two sequences use more than one chip of another sequence?
    Community Answer
No, only one chip from an existing sequence may be used to complete another sequence.
  • Question
I was told you must turn the board after each game. Is that a rule?
    Community Answer
It technically is not a rule, it just changes the game up a little bit so if you want to have different winners/losers, flip the board. You can also check the rule book, as it may also have suggestions.
  • Question
If there are six players, is it best to have 2 to 3 players or 3 to 2 players?
    TheFreshArtist
    Community Answer
The game is for 2-12 players composed of even teams divisible by 2 or 3. So, it is better if you play it with 3 teams with 2 players each.
  • Question
Can you use a sequence to make your second sequence?
    TheFreshArtist
    Community Answer
While forming a sequence requires 5 tiles in a row, no sequence can intersect another already-formed sequence by more than 1 tile.
  • Question
How many cards to each of 3 players?
    TheFreshArtist

  • Question
Can you start or end a sequence in another sequence?
    Hamza Hayat

  • Question
Does each team member play their own move, or does each team play a move together?
    Hamza Hayat
    Community Answer
Each team member play their own move even if playing in teams. The number of players eligible for playing sequence is 2,3,4,6.
  • Question
Can we use two cards to make third sequence using one card from existing two sequences?
    Community Answer

  • Question
Can I make 2 sequences in one move by putting the last chip connecting them?
    Community Answer
Each chip can only be part of one sequence. You have a chip as part of two sequences.
  • Question
If a two-eyed jack was used to fill a space on the board and is not part of a sequence, can we use a one eyed jack to remove that chip on the board?
    Community Answer
As long as a chip is not part of a sequence, it can be removed with a one-eyed jack. This means even chips placed with a two-eyed jack can be removed.
  • Question
I want to use one-eye jack, and there are 7 chips in a row horizontally of opposite team, Can I remove any one of them ?
    Community Answer
Yes, you can remove any chip on the board, as long as it's not already a sequence.

When all the cards are used, shuffle them and flip them over to continue playing, unless you've used all the markers/pieces.
  • Question
What if none of the players made the sequence, and the card deck has no more card left to draw a new card.
    Ruby Silver
    Community Answer
If this happens, take the discard pile and place it facedown, like a draw pile.
  • Question
When playing with 2 people, do you shuffle both decks together to play or keep them separately one deck per person to play individually?
    Kathryn Lemon
    Community Answer
When playing Sequence with only 2 players, shuffle both decks together in order to ensure that any card can be drawn randomly, and make sure that the drawing is fair.
  • Question
Can I play sequence without a partner, say 5 people to play as individuals only?
    Community Answer
You can, but it often takes longer. Five people might also take up the whole board before two sequences are made.
  • Question
When a sequence is established, does it have to be the player placing the chip who calls sequence, or can another team member call it?
    Community Answer
It doesn't matter, as long as one person on the team calls it before the next turn.
  • Question
What is best to start a turn? Where? Why?
    Kathryn Lemon
    Community Answer
There is no "best move" to start with in a game, but if you are going first, try to go closer to the corners or to the middle, instead of just in between. If you aren't going first, place a chip in the path of another player's sequence, if possible. Another good move may be playing in a spot far from any chips - this tends to stop the other player(s) from focusing on that side of the board. If you have a one or two-eyed jack, use them carefully. Only remove a chip if it'll make it much easier for you to win, or another player is very close to winning. For two-eyed, same rules apply. Sequence is very much a game of strategy.
  • Question
If somebody takes a chip off with one-eyed Jack, can you use a 2-eyed Jack or an original card to cover before they have their turn?
    Kathryn Lemon
    Community Answer
If they remove the chip with a one-eyed Jack, then yes, you may play a two-eyed Jack or the card itself and cover it back up, if you have this option.
  • Question
What happens next after removing a chip using a one-eyed jack card?
    Kathryn Lemon
    Community Answer
After using a one-eyed jack, your turn is over. You may not place a chip in the same turn.
  • Question
If only 2 players are playing, do we use both decks of cards?
    Kathryn Lemon
    Community Answer
Yes. Both players will need 7 cards, and to make sure all cards are able to be drawn, both decks should be used, regardless of how many people are playing.
  • Question
How many dead cards can I use in one turn? If all I have is dead cards, do I lose a turn after I replace a card?
    Kathryn Lemon
    Community Answer
