The best thing to do if you're asking forgiveness is to do so outright. Romantic gifts are nice, but if you give her a gift without apologizing for however you wronged her, she may view this as you trying to buy her love back without putting in the work of mending the relationship. Talk to her about it, apologize to her, and if she seems amenable to it, ask her outright if there's any way you can make it up to her.
