Practice a few problems going over the exam subjects and see how well you do. If you get more than half of them wrong, go back and review the basic principles so you can focus on them for the rest of your study session.

  • Question
How do I get an exam syllabus?
    Community Answer
You should talk with your professor or whoever will be proctoring your exam. Not all professors offer an exam syllabus though, so my recommendation would be to practice homework problems and past exam and quiz problems (if any). Try and understand topically what the questions are asking you rather than simply checking for the right answer. If you understand why a question is asking you for a specific thing, you'll better understand the process you need to use to solve the problem.
