You can, or you can ask a hair dresser for help. In fact, many hair dressers will trim a man's eyebrows for him as part of a haircut. If you'd like your stylist or barber to do this, just ask.

Use a Spoolie brush (or a clean mascara wand) to brush them gently up. Then, trim away any long strays staying about 1/8" above the the length of the other hairs. Then brush the hairs straight down and repeat.

Some guys do, but they get less hair removed, usually just the hairs between the brows and any strays on the forehead are tweezed or waxed. Trimming however is a must for most men; I include it with every man's haircut.

Trimming will reduce the density somewhat, but thick brows are great and very in style. You can also lighten the color of your brows to make them look less intense.

Can I remove the upper part with Gillette?
    Community Answer
I would not recommend using a razor for brows. Either go get them waxed or tweeze them at home.
  • Question

Target carries a small electric razor that costs around $20 that's perfect for both male and female.
  • Question
Should I trim my eyebrows to 1/2" or a 1/4"?
    Community Answer
You should trim them no shorter than 1/2".
  • Question
How long does it take eyebrows to grow back in?
    Community Answer
You can see regrowth anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. It depends on how often you groom and what techniques you use. If there isn't much progress after a few weeks, you can try coconut oil or castor oil to help with the process.
  • Question
How do I slit my eyebrow?
    Community Answer
I don't recommend you do it at home, as you are working with a razor which is very near to your eye. Seek some professional help.
  • Question
    Will it grow back thicker?
    Community Answer
The end of the hair will look thicker than it originally did since you trimmed off the original tapered end, which won't grow back (the hair grows from the bottom, not the top). But you can always retrim it as needed.
  • Question
After shaping, how often do I have to repeat the treatment?
    Community Answer
Every 1-3 months, depending on how fast they grow.
  • Question
How short should the eyebrow be cut?
    Community Answer
Try 1/2 inch. You can always re-evaluate and go shorter if you decide that looks better.
