  • Question
How can I write a mailing address or my account number located above my name and address on my address label?
    Donagan
    Top Answerer
Presumably the "address label" already has your mailing address on it. If you're sure you want to note an account number, place it in small lettering (with "acct #") preferably above your address.
  • Question
What if the company has a preprinted return address already. Do I add mine?
    Donagan
    Top Answerer
It depends on where you want the mailpiece to go if it's returned. If you think there would be confusion about where to take it once it's returned to the company, you could add your name (and internal address if it's a large company).
  • Question
Can you put your email address with the return address?
    Donagan
    Top Answerer
No. Place your email address with your mailing address below your signature at the bottom of your letter.
  • Question
Where does the apartment number go?

Place it after the street address. For example, "4516 Maple Street #29." (or "Apt. 29")
  • Question
How do I return my my package?
    Donagan

Cross out your address (and any bar code that may accompany your address). Write in large letters near the middle of the addressed side of the parcel, "Return to Sender". Be sure there is a legible return address on the parcel, preferably in the upper-left corner of the addressed side.
  • Question
