Television shows don’t have to be watched on a TV these days. Your iOS device can do just as good a job if you use one of the many streaming video services available on the app store.

From the iTunes Store

  2. To search a certain show or episode, click on the "Search" tab from the bottom menu and type into the search bar at the top of the page.
  3. This will give you basic information about the episode, rating, cost, genre, and well as a short description of the episode.
  4. Click the button again to purchase. You will be prompted to type in your Apple ID password. Then, your video will begin downloading.
  5. You should find your new episode there ready for viewing.

  1. When the Hulu Plus app is displayed, tap the Free button next to it.
  2. Tap it again to install it and enter your password if required.
  3. Now tap the Log In button.

      • There are a number of other streaming services, some free, that provide selections of TV Shows to watch on mobile. Check out the free PBS app or, if you’re an HBO subscriber, check out the HBO GO service.
      • Streaming video, especially HD content, requires a high speed internet connection. Make sure you connect to Wi-Fi or a 3 or 4G network.
      • Some apps allow you to stream content from your iPad to your Apple TV for viewing on your television. Look out for the AirPlay button when watching video.
