Oven Baked Nachos Recipe
Ingredients:
* 1 bag (9-12 oz) tortilla chips
* 1 pound ground beef or turkey
* 1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning
* 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
* 1 cup corn kernels, fresh or frozen
* 1/2 cup diced red onion
* 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
* 2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
* Optional toppings: sliced jalapeños, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, hot sauce
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef or turkey over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
Add the taco seasoning, black beans, and corn to the skillet and stir until well combined.
Spread the tortilla chips in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spoon the beef or turkey mixture over the tortilla chips.
Sprinkle the diced red onion, diced tomatoes, and chopped cilantro over the top.
Top the nachos with the shredded cheese.
Bake the nachos in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve the nachos hot with your choice of toppings.
