When you have stomach cramps, it’s important to stay hydrated. It also may be easier to consume calories in liquid form (such as with a broth) until you are feeling a bit better. Water is the best way to stay hydrated, but you can also try beverages such as sports drinks, ginger ale, herbal teas (especially chamomile, peppermint, and licorice), and coconut water.
