Hire employees; 7. Open up to customers. 1. Break those steps down into smaller milestones you can use to track your progress. 1. January: Decide on what to sell. Choose a name. 2. February: Create business model, deciding between physical storefront and website. 3. March: Research necessary licenses and consult a lawyer while filling them out. 4. April: Start up production. 5. May: Rent a physical storefront and/or hire a web designer to start website. Begin to furnish storefront and fill out website. 6. June: Post ads to recruit employees. 7. July: Schedule grand opening. Market it with social media and local ads. 1. Move towards each milestone with daily tasks. 1. January 2: Research reliable goods to sell. 2. January 3: Brainstorm relevant skills. 3. January 4: Ask for opinions from friends and family. 4. January 5: Narrow down to 5 possibilities. 5. January 6: Look up industry competitors for each of the 5 possibilities. 6. January 7: ... 1. Track your daily tasks, milestones, and ultimate goal using a journal, calendar, or app.
