Crafting a Spooky Costume

Make a ghost costume out of a sheet. You can’t go wrong with this classic costume! First, put on a baseball hat backwards, which will help the sheet stay in place. Then, drape a white sheet over yourself. Use a pencil to trace eye holes and a mouth, or ask someone else to help. Take the sheet off and cut out the holes to complete! [1] X Research source

- To make the holes look more black, you can cut out circles of black cloth or mesh and pin or sew them on.

Be a vampire with dark clothes and fake blood. Even if you don’t have time to get the full cape and fangs look, you can still make a convincing vampire with items you already have. Craft simple red horns for a devil costume. For an easy, devilish look, start by putting on a red shirt or dress. Make devil horns by cutting out 2 triangles of cardboard, each about 3 inches (7.6 cm) long. Paint them red, or cover them with red construction paper, and glue or staple them to a red headband.
- You can place a small strip of cardboard at the bottom of each triangle to attach them more easily to the headband.
