It won't be possible in a group. You can create a broadcast, then if you post in that broadcast it will go to all members individually who have been added to that broadcast. In one broadcast you can have 256 members.

If you scroll down to the participant list, you'll see an option to "Add participants" and to "Invite via link." As long as you're an admin, you should be able to click on that and get the link to share the group with your friend!
