If you have a Chromecast device or a Smart TV with Chromecast built-in, you can project the Google Chrome browser to your TV. You can also cast from your Android or use AirPlay to screen mirror your iOS device. Here's how to use Google Chrome on a TV using your computer, Android, iPhone, or iPad.

- Set up your Chromecast or turn on a Chromecast-enabled Smart TV.
- Open Chrome on your computer.
- Click â‹® in the top-right corner.
- Hover over Save and Share and click Cast .
- Select your Chromecast or TV from the list.

Connect your Chromecast to your television. To use Google Chrome on your television, you’ll need have a Chromecast already hooked up to your television . You can also use a TV with Google Cast built in.
- This method will work for the Windows, Mac, and ChromeOS versions of the browser.
- Make sure your Chromecast and TV are on.

Connect to the same Wi-Fi network as the Chromecast. If your computer is not already connected to Wi-Fi, connect it now.Advertisement

Open Chrome on your computer. Chrome has a built-in "Cast" feature that allows you to send a Chrome tab to your TV.
- Make sure Chrome is updated to the latest version.

Visit any website in Chrome. Load up a website, such as wikiHow.com , so you’ll have something to cast to the TV.

Click â‹® . This is in the top-right corner. The Settings menu will expand.

Hover over "Save and share". This is near the bottom of the drop-down menu.

Click the arrow next to "Sources". You’ll see two options: Cast tab and Cast screen .

Select Cast tab . If you want to share your entire computer screen, select Cast screen instead.

Select your Chromecast from the list. In a few seconds, the site you loaded in the browser will appear on your television screen.
- You can browse to other websites while casting to the TV—just be sure you’re staying in the correct browser tab.
- When you’re ready to stop using Chrome on your TV, either close the browser tab or click Stop .

Connect your Chromecast to your television. If you have an Android device, you can cast your entire desktop to a TV using a Chromecast. When your desktop is cast to the TV, you’ll be able to run Chrome and any other app on your device.

Launch the Google Home app. This app allows you to connect different Google and Android devices in your household. You can find it in the Google Play Store.
- If you don't have Google Home, download it from the Play Store. You'll need to set up Google Home first.

Connect to the same Wi-Fi network as the Chromecast. If your Android is not already connected to Wi-Fi, connect it now.

Tap Devices . You can also tap Favorites .

Tap and hold the Chromecast. This will be in the list of devices.

Launch the Chrome app on your Android device. Like any other app, the contents of Chrome will now appear on the TV screen.
- As you browse the web, each page you click to will appear on the TV screen until you disconnect from the Chromecast.
- To stop casting, open the Google Home app again. Tap Devices or Favorites , tap and hold the Chromecast tile, and then tap Stop mirroring .

Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network. This is how your TV and iPhone/iPad will link together.

Open the Google Chrome app. Like any other app, the contents of Chrome will now appear on the TV screen.
- To stop screen mirroring, open the Control Center again. Tap Stop Screen Mirroring .
