With the end of the year quickly approaching (24 days until 2022, but who’s counting), Linh-Tran and I have been working together to create the annual wikiHow card. This card is sent out in January every year to celebrate not only a brand new year, but also wikiHow’s anniversary on January 15th. In 2022 we will be 17 years old!
We would love to show our appreciation and gratitude for all you do in the community by sending you a card. This year we are continuing to be fully digital, so we can share the celebration with wikiHowians near and far.
If you’d like to receive a card, all you need to do is fill out this form:
We’re looking forward to sharing the card with you - watch out for it coming to your inbox in mid-January 2022!

One more year until wikiHow is an adult!

Wow! wikiHow’ll be an official adult soon! wikiHow’s still a teen – it’s great to see wikiHow in its (sorry if I’m using the wrong pronouns) teen years!
Hmm… what are we counting? First, second, third, fourth?!
And for your own safety
, please avoid mentioning your age (or anything that could be used to figure out your age) here. These threads are public, meaning anyone on the internet (including anonymous users) can view them – so it’s best to avoid sharing personal information. Thanks!

Just realized WikiHow will be old enough to get a driver’s license!

Wow! 17. How nice. I look forward to the wonderful gesture. I am going to receive another ecard this month from a friend.
I liked the line that said, If neither applies, please stop here

Jeez, already almost seventeen? One more year until wikiHow is a fully grown adult! Until then, wikiHow can just chill and drink coffee all it wants

18 is the minimum in my country.

Same, that’s literally the perfect age to get a license.

Just a quick reminder that this is the thread for the anniversary card, not about the legal driving age in your area. Unless we’re talking about whether the anniversary card itself would be old enough to drive where you live… though given that the card itself would technically be a newborn, I would sincerely hope the universal answer to that is “no”

I think they are talking about if wikiHow is old enough to drive in their area
Okay, let’s try that again, a little clearer this time: Talking about the legal age of driving where you live is off-topic, and a significant amount of people (including minors) are revealing their location by doing so, which is not safe. Please keep the discussion related to the anniversary cards or wikiHow’s birthday in general

. Let's talk about internet safety!
Same principle applies for this thread - even though it might not seem like much, try to avoid disclosing information that could be revealing of your location/age/etc., particularly if you’re a minor.
