This is a guide on how to get Lucario by evolving Riolu in Pokémon Pearl.

Where can you find a Lucario in Pokémon?

Go to Canalave City and cross the bridge. Head south to find a sailor to set sail with.
When you arrive, go up both flights of stairs and enter the cave.
Go down the rightmost set of stairs and go to the platform in the southeast of the cave.
Wait for the platform to sink, then take the left set of stairs.
Talk to your partner, ride the platform to the lower floor, and go through the door on the left.
Take the platform up. Your partner will now give you an egg. Walk around until it hatches.
Make your Riolu happier until it gains a level and evolves into a Lucario.

You should see a sailor and a boat, which can take you to Iron Island.

Take the right one.
Maneuver your trainer to the platform on the southeast part of the cave, and wait until the platform sinks onto the lower floor.
Take the left one.
Your partner should give you an egg that will hatch into Riolu here. Exit the cave through the left doorway.
Make the egg hatch by walking around with it in your party Pokémon. When it hatches, you will have a Riolu.
Your Riolu should evolve into a Lucario.
