Yes! Just because you’re on a tight budget when it comes to decorations doesn’t mean you can’t create a great looking party. You can always get creative and find items around the house that you can use to make your own decorations.
  • Question
How should you decorate a school classroom for a party?
    Community Answer
You probably won't have as much time to decorate a classroom for a party as you might for a party at home. If that's the case, focus on a few big impact items to make the space feel more festive. Hang a few banners across the tops of the walls that reference the occasion, and place a couple of large bouquet of balloons at the front of the room to keep it simple but fun.

How should I decorate a room for a girls' sleepover?

  • Question
My theme is 'Daydreaming About Summer'. My father hates balloons and streamers. Which decorations can I use?

Flowers that bloom in summer make good decorations, arranged in vases or in garlands or wreaths. That could be expensive, especially if you are daydreaming about summer in the middle of winter. Silk or other artificial flowers could work. Bunting is very summery and can be purchased or made. Parasols hung from the ceiling could look good. Create or print out pictures of shining suns, classic or cartoon, and suspend from the ceiling or attach to walls. Add some little fluffy summer clouds if you like. Butterflies and songbird images could be used to make mobiles.
  • Question
How should I decorate a room with beams?
    Community Answer
You could hang triangle banners from the beams, making sure they hang down. Of course, it really does depend on the type of party you are having. If you are having a party for a child, you might want to use banners, but if you are having a more elegant party, you may want to consider decorating the walls instead of the beams. Of course, you can decorate a room with beams just like you would decorate any other room. It doesn't really matter. I would consider Pinterest, though! Just search your party theme or colors, followed by the word "decoration" and you can explore from there!
  • Question
How do I decorate for a Christmas themed class party?
    Community Answer
You could hang up streamers in red and green colors and attach paper Christmas tree bows to them. Also, hang cookies with frosting and tiny handmade presents around the room. Posters of Santa and reindeer are good, as are Santa and reindeer toys. Have the kids make things too, like drawings, paintings, etc. The more you can make from scratch using recycled materials, the less waste you'll be creating and the more artistic the kids will get.
  • Question
How do I decorate for a tropical themed party?
    Ananya Srivastava
    Community Answer
Decorate your walls with green grasses and colourful flowers made out of charts. You can dress as animals if you are a small child; if you are a teen or elder, you can choose dresses as per your choice. Choose the lighting as dim yellow, as not much sunlight can enter the forest floor. You can have cakes or cupcakes decorated with animals.
  • Question
How can I decorate the party for young school children?
    Adeline Gollup
    Community Answer
Think about what they enjoy. Also think about a theme. Remember, you don't have to be crazy with this, you just have to make sure they have a good time. Simple balloons and streamers will do. Dollar store items would be perfect for decorations that don't cost a lot.
