    Expert Answer
Performing the duck walk requires getting into a full sumo squat position. Ensure that your knees jut forward as little as possible to avoid the "deep knee bend" position. Then, walk in the sumo squat position, and you're duck walking!
  • Question
Can this be used for pretending to be Gollum from Lord of the Rings?
    Community Answer
Yes, if you would like to pretend to be Gollum, go for it! The duck walk can be very fun and entertaining, but remember- avoid any uncomfortable movements and if it begins to hurt, take a break!
  • Question
I thought all I needed to do was press down. Am I incorrect?
    Community Answer
Just crouch or sit down; the pressure must be kept on the legs. Walk, keeping your hands around your neck.
  • Question
I can do this to where I'm really low and super fast at the same time, but does this work out my calves?
    Community Answer
If you can feel your calves tiring out or straining while doing this, then it is definitely helping, however you could hurt yourself if you try doing this too fast, so be careful.
