If dues are a financial hardship, your local Council should be able to make some accommodation (payment plan, reduced or waived dues, etc.)

A man who is divorced but not otherwise remarried and remains a "practical" Catholic -- that is a practicing Catholic in full Communion with the Catholic Church who accepts all that the Catholic Church teaches as well as the precepts of the Church -- can become a Knight. A man who divorces and remarries without the benefit of a decree of nullity (annulment) is not, by definition, a "practical" Catholic and cannot become a member of the Knights. In such a case, the first marriage would need to be annulled and the second marriage con-validated before the man could (re)join the Knights.

A man who is a "practical" Catholic, is married, divorced and has a declaration of nullity (annulment) of the the marriage and remarries in the Catholic Church can (re)join the Knights. A man who is married, divorced and does not have a declaration of nullity (annulment) cannot (re)join the Knights. He would have to first have an annulment before he could remarry in the Catholic Church and join the Knights.
