Open the folder where you have installed Tor, browse through browser > Tor browser > Tor > data. There you will find a file named "torrc." Open the file with Notepad. At the end of the document, on a new line, write this: ExitNodes {US}. For example, if you want your exit node to be in China, type {CN}.

I am using HP ProBook 6470b. I have done all the entry and exit steps but it doesn't seem to follow my specifications. What else can I do?

It is a very rare chance that it is your computer/hardware being the problem. The problem was most likely an error in the Tor-browser itself. It may sound redundant, but either restarting your computer or reinstalling Tor-browser might work. If that does not work, you can try to just use exit nodes or only entry nodes. If you use both there might be an error. Remember that you just need to type one command for and exit/entry node. Multiple commands for an exit node may result in an error (vice versa).

Follow these steps on your MacBook Pro: Open the Tor browser. Click on "Tor Network Settings" from the onion menu in the top-left corner. In the "Tor Network Settings" window, click on the "Country" dropdown menu and select "Italy". Click on the "OK" button to save your changes and close the "Tor Network Settings" window. Close and restart the Tor browser for the changes to take effect.
