    Expert Answer
You take a board with the length of the item you're trying to hang and you rip it through the SAR and a 45. That will make two different angles: you hang one side on the wall and screw the other side into whatever you're hanging on the wall.
  • Question
What size Rawl plug do I need for a 16 mm hole in concrete, and what size coach screw would be best?
    Community Answer
For a 16 mm hole, I do not believe there is a Rawl plug. Use a Dyna bolt or AnkaScrew.
  • Question
How do I tell if there is an electricity cable in the wall?
    Community Answer
By reading the building plan. The utility cable plan will show the routing of cable within the wall.
  • Question
How do you put a screw plug in?
    Drew Hawkins1
    Community Answer
Start by putting a drill bit that fits the screw into the drill. Make a pilot hole in the surface so it's deep enough to fit the screw. Then, use your fingers to push the plug into the pilot hole as far as you can. Take a hammer and use it to gently tap the end of the plug until it's all the way in the pilot hole.
  • Question
How much weight can a Rawlplug hold?
    Drew Hawkins1
    Community Answer
Rawlplugs are rated to withstand weights between 44 lbs (20 kg) and 110 lbs (50 kg). If they start to come out of a surface you can tighten the screw to drive them back into the hole that's holding it. If it cracks or breaks, take it out and replace it with a new one.
  • Question
What are wall plugs used for?
    Drew Hawkins1
    Community Answer
A wall plug, also known as an anchor or a Rawlplug, are small plastic fittings that grip and hold screws when they're installed into hard walls such as brick or cement. They'll prevent a screw from coming out of the wall after you install it.
