In conducting our survey of university freshmen on behalf of our client, the Student Activities Committee, we have become aware of a flaw in our survey. There is a particular question where we have noticed that many students are answering “Other” and then providing the exact same response when being asked to write in their alternate answer. For this reason, we feel that it would be best to revise this question to include that commonly used response as one of the available answers. With your permission, we would like to revise and re-administer our survey. However, in doing so, we could not hope to have the surveys collected and the results compiled by the due date. We would like to ask that you extend our due date for this project to October 15 to give us adequate time to make these revisions and provide the most accurate results to our client.
