Dragon Fruit Sorbet Recipe
Ingredients:
* 2 ripe dragon fruits, peeled and chopped
* 1/2 cup sugar
* 1/2 cup water
* 2 tbsp lime juice
* 1/2 tsp lime zest
Instructions:
In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water and bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves, then remove from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
Add the dragon fruit, lime juice, and lime zest to a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
Strain the dragon fruit puree through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any seeds.
Add the cooled sugar syrup to the dragon fruit puree and stir until well combined.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Once the sorbet is thick and creamy, transfer it to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
When ready to serve, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften before scooping.
Note: You can also add other ingredients to the sorbet, such as fresh mint or ginger, to create your own unique flavor combinations.
