What should a good reference letter include?
Normally, reference letters are documents where a person has to show that someone is extraordinary. Typically, the author of the letter has to provide enough background about themselves to qualify as an expert in the field of extraordinary ability in which the individual is applying for the visa. They also have to provide enough detail about the various achievements that the visa applicant has on their resume and why those achievements make the visa applicant sort of distinguished or more recognized than their peers.
How long does it take to get EAD renewal?
The process can take a long time in some cases. My recommendation is to apply six months in advance. In certain cases, work authorization is automatically extended if the new work permit is not approved by the time the old one expires, but not in every case. So, particularly in the cases where it's not extended beyond it, you want to play it safe and apply as early as possible to avoid having your work authorization lapse.
How do I report someone who lied to immigration?
The most probably effective way would be to write a letter to the immigration office that is processing the application and provide as much detail about the alleged fraud as possible. They're less likely to take action if it's so would have just an unsubstantiated letter—if there's any hope that there would actually be action taken, there has to be supporting evidence and highly specific information provided because the government would bear the burden to prove that there really is fraud there.
