When you want to have better-smelling breath, herbs are useful and natural way to beat the bad odors. You can chew on cardamom, mint, basil, licorice, cinnamon, and fennel seeds to get fresh and pleasantly-scented breath.

To get rid of bad breath and make it smell fresh, try to brush your teeth and tongue right after you eat. Remember to floss between your teeth at least once a day to remove any old food or plaque that are causing the odors. If it's been a few months since you replaced your toothbrush, using a new one can help clean away odor-causing bacteria better.
Other tricks to help freshen your breath include avoiding smelly foods like onions and garlic, staying hydrated so your mouth stays moist, and chewing on sugar-free gum or mints.
If you continue having bad breath after cleaning and taking care of your oral hygiene, it might be time to see a dentist to check for underlying causes, like gum disease or faulty fillings.
