  • Question
I used to sleep on right side and sometimes straight, but whenever I wake up, I am sleeping on my stomach. What do I do?
    Sobi
    Top Answerer
During your sleep, your body might sometimes change positions, and this is natural and beyond your control. The Prophet said that the pen is "lifted from the sleeper until he awakens"; therefore, if you are sleeping on your stomach and you were not initially in that position, as long as you change it when you wake up, that is fine.

  • Question
How do I wake up for Fajr prayer? I love my sleep, and it's very difficult to wake up early in the morning.
    Sobi
    Top Answerer
Allah (may He be exalted) knows the struggles of staying up for Isha prayer or waking up for Fajr prayer. This is why they are the signs of a true believer, that they forsake their beds in order to worship Him. The Qur'an says, "Only those believe ... arise from [their] beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration". Make an intention to wake up for Fajr, and set an alarm about 10 mins before the jama'ah time.

There are a few opinions on this topic. There are some hadeeth that say that you should avoid being naked, and that you should cover yourself even when alone because you are in the presence of the Angels and Allah. Therefore, some scholars say that you should avoid doing this. However, you are technically still covered by the blanket, so other scholars say this is permissible as long as you know that nobody will see you.
  • Question
Can I sleep naked with my mother or someone else? I mistakenly did it. What should I do?
    Sobi

No, this isn't allowed. You can only sleep naked (while covered by a blanket, of course) alone or with your spouse. This is because of the hadeeth that says that children should be separated in their bedding when they reach the age of puberty, and the Qur'an says that "when the children among you reach the age of puberty, then let them (also) ask for permission [to enter the room]". Therefore, you should not be sleeping naked with your mother or anyone else.

Can I sleep on a pillow which has an face drawn on it?
    Fatihahsurah
    Community Answer
I did not find any law in Quran on this but what I found that Allah (SWT) made forbidden those which are not moral and bad for us. Now imagination of a pillow as person isn’t bad as you may find closeness to that person or it may help you to fight loneliness or have a good sleep etc. The immoral thing isn’t the pillow rather it’s our action and thoughts.
