Pan Roasted Goose Breast Recipe
Ingredients:
* 2 goose breasts
* 2 tablespoons olive oil
* 2 garlic cloves, minced
* 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
* Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Remove the goose breasts from the fridge and let them come to room temperature.
In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.
Season the goose breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
Add the goose breasts to the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes or until the skin is crispy and browned.
Flip the goose breasts and add minced garlic and chopped fresh thyme to the skillet.
Cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the goose breasts are cooked to your liking.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the goose breasts reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
Remove the skillet from the oven and let the goose breasts rest for 5 minutes.
Slice the goose breasts and serve hot with your favorite sides.
