I am writing to address the overdue balance I currently have on my credit card ending in 6728.
I have automatic bill pay set up with my bank, Evergreen Financial, which is supposed to pay my credit card bill on the 28th of every month. However, due to an error on their part, my payment was rescheduled to the 8th of the month. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice this issue until my payment to Copeland was already past due.
I have been in contact with my bank, and they assure me this error has been resolved. I have also requested they transfer the payment for this month as soon as possible, as opposed to waiting until the 8th.
I wanted to apologize for this inconvenience and also ask that you waive the late payment fee. I have had a credit card with Copeland for over two years, and I have never missed a payment. I pride myself on having an excellent credit report, so I hope this will not leave a mark on my record.
If I can provide any other documentation or information, please let me know.
