    Open the notification panel.  Unlock your phone and swipe down from the top of the screen. Now you will see the notification panel with several quick settings.

    Long press the quick settings icon. You will see the gear icon on the bottom-right side of the panel. Press the gear icon on your phone until it vibrates.

Using the System UI Tuner option.

    Open the Settings app.  Tap on the Settings app from the menu. If you can't find it, use the search bar at the bottom. Alternatively, just tap the quick settings icon from the notification panel.

    Navigate to System settings. Scroll down to the bottom and tap on System .

    Open System UI Tuner option. It will be located at the bottom of the screen with a grey "wrench" icon.

    LG has removed the feature. There's still hope, such as using ADB or rooting (although this is not recommended unless you know what you're doing). Check XDA forums for more help.

    Open the Settings app. Locate Apps or Application Manager (depending upon which device you use). Swipe the screen to the left to get to the All tab. Scroll down until you locate the currently running home screen. Scroll down until you see the Clear Defaults button (Figure A). Tap Clear Defaults.
