If you shop for Instacart, you may sometimes want to take out your earnings earlier than the allotted time for your weekly deposit. Most banks take your weekly deposit on Wednesday or Thursday, but with Instant Cashout, you can take it out at your leisure, however often you feel.

1Complete at least one Instacart delivery from beginning to end. Mark the order as delivered with the red swipe bar.

2Wait until your money gets added to your account. Instacart tends to take 30-45 minutes after delivery before the money gets added to your account.Advertisement

3Open your Instacart Shopper app. Don't have an batch open in any stage of a new delivery.

4Locate your "Earnings" page. Tap the "Menu" button from the top left corner of the Instacart Shopper screen, then tap "Earnings," and under that tap "Earnings".

5Locate the "Cashout" button. It'll be right below your "Current Balance" up near the top of the screen. If it's green and holds a dollar amount greater than $5, you can proceed.
- For your money to be accessible for an Instant Cashout, your delivery earnings must be more than $5. If the system's button says your account is holding less than that $5 minimum, you'll need to earn more to cash out.
- You can also find how much is in your account, by reading the "Instacart Payment" line just below the "Summary" label on the same page.

- You may encounter a glitch that you must get past when taking the money in an Instant Cashout that causes the app to think you are trying to take out money after the deposit goes through and your balance is at $0.
