This wikiHow teaches you how to change your number on the Viber app for iPhone and iPad. On Viber for iPad, there is no direct option to change your number so you'll need to deactivate your current number and register the new number instead.

On iPhone

Open Viber. It's the purple app with a phone inside of a speech bubble.

Tap Settings . It's the option next to the gear icon near the bottom of the page.

Tap Account . It's the first option at the top.

Tap Change Phone Number . It's the second to last option on the page.

Tap New phone number . It's the first option at the top of the page. This will open a pop-up menu.

Tap Continue . It's on the bottom-right of the pop-up window.

Select your country and type your new phone number. Tap the country drop-down box under the 'My new number is' heading and tap the country your new number is registered in. Then type in your new phone number in the field below.

Tap Continue . It's the purple button at the bottom of the page. You will receive a confirmation code via text message.

Enter the confirmation code. Check your text messages and then enter the confirmation code in the Viber app.

Tap Deactivate in the popup. This will remove all data from Viber on your iPhone or iPad. Viber will close when it is done.

- You may receive a popup asking to allow Viber to access your address book. Tap Agree .
