Using the Google Music Website

Go to https://music.google.com in a web browser.
- Log in to your Google account with your email address and password if you aren't logged in automatically.

Click the Music Library tab. It's the icon in the left column that resembles a stack of records with a music note on top.Advertisement

Click the Albums or Songs tab. It's at the top of the page under the search bar.

Click ⋮ . Place mouse cursor over a song or an album and click the icon with three vertical dots that appear in the top-right corner.

Click Download or Download Album .
- If you don't see this option you might not own the rights to download the music. Click Buy to purchase song.

Using Google Music Manager

Go to [ https://play.google.com/music/listen?u=0#/manager the Music Manager page in a web browser. Open a web browser and go to https://play.google.com/music/listen?u=0#/manager to download the Music Manager.

Click Download Music Manager . It's the orange button at the bottom of the page. This starts the Music Manager download.

Double-click the installation file to install Music Manager. On Windows, follow any prompts to complete the installation. On Mac, drag the Music Manager icon into the Applications folder to complete the installation.
- By default, downloaded files can usually be found in the "Download" folder on Windows and Mac computers.

Open Music Manager. Double-click the icon with the orange headphones found in the "Recently Added" section of the Start Menu on Windows, or found in the "Applications" folder on Mac.

Sign in with your Google account. Enter your Gmail address and password to log into the Google Account you use with Google Music.

Select Download songs from Google Play to my computer . Click the radio button next to "Download songs from Google Play to my computer" so it is highlighted and click Next or Continue .

Select a folder location where you want to download the music to. You can select your computer's default music folder or click the radio button next to "I will select a folder" to choose a different folder.

Select what music you want to download. Click the radio button for "Download my library" to download everything you own including music you've uploaded, or you can click the radio button for "Download all my free and purchased music" to download just the songs you've purchased or received for free on Google Play.

Click Start Download . This begins downloading your music to your computer.Advertisement
