Using the X/Twitter Website

  1. Open  www.twitter.com  in your web browser and log in with your username and password.
  2. Check out the “Notifications” tab to quickly find the replies to your tweets.

  3. This will be located at the top-right corner of the tweet.
  4. If you're using this feature for the first time, a confirmation box will pop-up on your screen. Click on the Hide reply button to continue.
  5. When you're done, the reply will be moved to a separate page, and anyone can view them by selecting the hidden reply icon on the Tweet.

Using the X/Twitter App for Android

  1.  It’s the black icon with a white X. Update your app, if you haven't already done so.
  2. Note that you can only hide replies to your tweets.
  3. This will open the menu tab.
  4. It will be the fourth option in the list.
  5. The hidden reply will be moved to a separate page, and anyone can view them by selecting the hidden reply icon on the Tweet.

      Tips

      • When you hide a reply to your tweet, the author of the reply will not be notified.
      • You can unhide a reply anytime. To do it, click on the hidden reply icon and click the V icon from the reply you’d like to unhide. Then, select Unhide reply from the options.
