Ingredients
- 175 g (6 oz) soft margarine
- 175 g (6 oz) caster sugar
- 3 eggs
- 175 g (6 oz) self raising flour
- 2 table spoons milk
- 55 g (2 oz) plain chocolate melted (optional)

Put sheets of baking paper cases on baking sheets.

Put margarine, sugar, eggs, flour and milk in one large bowl and use a whisk or spoon and beat together until smooth.Advertisement

Divide the mixture between 2 bowls. Add the melted chocolate in one bowl and stir until it's well mixed.

Put four and a half teaspoons in each baking case using a teaspoon and alternating the chocolate mixture with the plain mixture. You can also use a chopstick to swirl the mixture around.

Bake the cupcakes in a preheated oven, 180 °C (350 °F), for 20 minutes or until well risen and springy touch.
