Michigan eLibrary, MEL, or MELCAT is a service that is offered to some Michigan residents through their home library. Patrons can use MEL to order and borrow books, audiobooks, music CDs, and movies. If the desired item is available, patrons can pick these items up from their home library in about two or three weeks. This wikiHow will teach you how to reserve a book using the Michigan eLibrary.
Steps

- If you are not sure if your library is a participant, click on "Participating Libraries" on the Michigan eLibrary website and look at the list. You can also check your library's website to see if they participate, or call your library.
