"By accident? Or by design? There is no difference."
Tanks are mostly known for their durability and their CC. This is no different for Khufra, who has many abilities that can make your team win right away. With a skill ready to push enemies for the allies - into bouncing to his ball, this is a heroic step-up for Khufra. If you are ready to rule the game as Khufra, then read this wikiHow article for more.
Steps
-
Know alternatives to Khufra. As Khufra is commonly banned in the Draft Pick, you may have to consider using Atlas, Johnson, Lolita, or Tigreal if you want a hero that relies on similar CC skills. If you mainly use Khufra to start a team fight, using Franco, Grock, or Hylos is a good option.
-
Use his passive (Spell Curse). This passive will temporarily enhance his basic attack (every 12 seconds) - and when hitting an enemy (or non-hero units), their movement speed will decrease to 30% and Khufra will be healed 8% of the max HP he currently has. [1] X Research source Know that this passive will make his attack range similar to a marksman - try to find a sense of using the enhanced basic attack when attempting to find gankers.Advertisement
-
Use his 1st skill (Tyrant's Revenge). When using this skill, he will prepare himself to launch into a direction. Once released (or if an enemy hero is detected while being prepared), he will blink to that location, while knocking the enemy airborne for 1 second. [2] X Research source This should be considered the starter for team fights - it will make the enemy disabled while your teammates can attack further!
-
Take note of his 2nd skill (Bouncing Ball). When enabled, Khufra will turn himself to a bouncing ball for three seconds as he increases his physical/magical defense by a maximum amount of 100% while slowing the enemy while being hit. [3] X Research source Use this skill after Tyrant's Revenge - allies can attack the enemy that you are attempting to kill.
- Know that you can also use this skill while enemy heroes use a blink skill (excluding Flicker) and they will be knocked up instead. [4] X Research source
-
Try his ultimate (Tyrant's Rage). His ultimate will pull back enemy heroes in a direction and give up to 600 physical damage while slowing enemies down (if the ultimate is directed to a wall, the enemies will be stunned instead and earn up to 900 physical damage) for up to 1.75 seconds. [5] X Research source Use this skill near your turrets or walls - this may earn you a kill or two!
-
Select the equipment items. To increase his power, starting adding Warriors Boots or Tough Boots depending on the enemy heroes - and then add Cursed Helmet to continually damage enemy heroes when nearby - follow this with Antique Cuirass, Athena's Shield, Guardian Helmet, and Twilight Armor. If needed, you can replace either of these items with Immortality, Thunder Belt, or Dominance Ice. [6] X Research source
-
Choose his emblem. This may seem obvious, but using the Tank emblem is advantageous here. Upgrade Vitality and Inspire first to increase his physical/magical defense, then select Brave Smite as your talent to increase your HP while using his skills. As an alternative, Concussive Blast can be used to deal damage to enemies around after using your basic attack. [7] X Research source
-
Know his combos. During the game, try using his 1st skill, followed by his 2nd skill, and then his passive. If possible, try using your Petrify battle spell after Tyrant's Revenge. [8] X Research source This combo can stop enemies from using their blink skills - take this into account when starting a team-fight or if you are assisting your ally.Advertisement
