How to Play as Odette in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang

Although Odette cannot be bought by using your Battle Points, getting her can be a nice reward. She relies on the swan power to charge all of her skills, including her powerful ultimate. Steps

  1. As mentioned before, Odette cannot be obtained via Battle Points. You will either need to receive her via the Hero Fragments shop for 120 fragments, 20 Lucky Gems from the Lucky Spin or via a newbie-exclusive event that is available.
  2. While Odette can be the poke mage, you can also talk out alternatives for her. For her Burst specialty, you can place Chang'e, Pharsa, or Yve to deal massive damage. In the Poke specialty, you can select Aurora, Nana, or Vexana for other choices.

  3. This passive can be activated once you use a skill for Odette, and it will enhance her basic attack. When she launches her enhanced basic attack, it will cast a soundwave that will hit nearby enemies and minions multiple times. [1] This passive can be used as an advantage to trickle enemies on low HP.
    • You can also use this passive to attack over the turret's range (like Layla).
  4. This skill will summon a swan to attack nearby enemies, whilst dealing magic damage (up to 500 magic damage) and slowing enemies down by 30% in two seconds. [2] Use this skill as a way to clear minion waves to push the lane.
    • In particular, you can upgrade this skill when you first begin the game as it manages to deal damage in a line, rather than her second skill in which it only deals damage to one person/minion.
  5. This skill will fire a magic energy ball forward. While it may seem simple, if it detects an enemy, it will immobilize the enemy for 1.5 seconds and earn up to 400 magic damage. If another hero is behind the targeted enemy, they will also have the same effects as well. [3] You should use this skill to deter possible ganking and let the teammates attack after.
  6. This skill will summon an energy field that continuously deals damage every 0.5 seconds. This will slow enemies down by 90%, and lets Odette enhance her passive to continue abusing the enemy. If needed, Odette can also blink into a direction to move her energy field. [4] Use this skill as the main tone and a way to attack enemies!
    • Timing is extremely important when using her ultimate. Try jumping into a team fight with Swan Song. You can also use this as a ganking skill to surprise enemies or if you feel confident about killing an enemy with less HP with Swan Song.
    • During this ultimate, you can use battle spells to protect yourself/harass enemies, including Flicker and Flameshot.
    • You can counter this ultimate by buying Winter Truncheon, Athena's Shield, or heroes with slow immunity.
    • While Odette may earn a small shield (instead of damage reduction), you can easily counter her ult as a marksman by dealing critical damage - or use Esmeralda to stop her ult and kill right away.
  7. You can consider Demon Boots for mana usage (or Arcane Boots as an alternative), Glowing Wand for continuous damage to enemies, and Concentrated Energy to receive Magic Lifesteal and huge magic damage. [5] You may also consider Ice Queen Wand for continuous slow of enemies, Holy Crystal for multiple magic damages, and Lightning Truncheon for damage echoing.
  8. You can use the Mage emblem, and upgrade Agility and Contract. For the third section, use Impure Rage to deal extra magic damage and re-heal Mana. [6] [7] For alternatives, you can upgrade Magic Worship to get kills fast or Mystery Shop to quickly get equipment.
  9. A common combo with Odette is using all three skills, which is 1 - 2 - 3. First, use Avian Authority to slow enemies down, then Blue Nova to immobilize, and finally Swan Song to kill enemies. This will be a huge advantage to use and can help to wipe the team out faster.
  10. A common combo that is done will include both Johnson and Odette on the same team. To ensure this goes well, make sure Johnson uses his ultimate, and ride with him. Once he crashes into an opponent, use your ultimate to abuse the enemy even more!
