If you thought Mobile Legends was a game to show off your skills in wiping the team out multiple times, you've got it all wrong! MLBB focuses on pushing your lane and killing the base turret. Sometimes, it almost looks like there's no chance to win with all of the shields, but the minions and this wikiHow will assist you all the way!
Steps
-
Know your minions. In the game, there will be 3 minions walking into a lane and focusing on what's blocking their way into the enemy base. This includes the other minions and secondary turrets. You should use their confusion as a way to push, as without the minions, you will do less damage, unlike with the minions.
- The three types of minions are Infantry, Lancer, and Siege/Cannon. Do note that they can also attack you, yet with small damage.
-
Note the turrets. There are four types of turrets, which are called the Inner, Outer, Inhibitor, and Base turrets. All of these turrets have a type of protection in the early game, and they can reduce your damage to a turret.
- When you hit a turret, the enemy will be notified via the announcer. Note the taglines that follow, such as "Our turret is under attack!".

Be aware of getting executed. You may think that turrets are safe to attack, but turrets can hit your HP. In the early game, avoid going for the turret right away (without minions). Turrets are damage dealers early in the game.
- If you keep staying on a turret without any protection, the damage will increase on every hit. Avoid using this as a way to feed.
-
Make note of the shield. In the first 5 minutes of the game, the inner turrets will have a shield on them to protect their HP. It's more advisable to stay on the lane you selected so you can have a head start on the game.
- The Outer and Inhibitor turrets carry a shield when the turret behind them is killed earlier than expected. The Outer turrets will shield some damage, and the Inhibitor turret will receive half damage even with minions around.
-
Watch the map. Sometimes, while you aren't looking, there could be minions and enemies trying to push a lane without any ally heroes! Listen carefully to the announcer, as it will alert you to defend the turret.
-
Gank. Sometimes, there will be enemies guaranteed to check around the map to avoid losing in the game. In this case, you should hide in a bush (when needed), and when you see enemies, use a skill that can suddenly increase your chances of winning!
-
Direct to the turret. Once the minions finish killing the enemy minions that are blocking their way into the enemy base, you should join with them. Note that you can only kill the turrets with a basic attack, and the damage will be increased for those who use physical attack.
-
Kill the Lord. After the Lord is summoned, the Lord will enhance and roar to attack a turret with high damage. If you manage to kill the Lord, you should follow his side and attack the turrets whilst he enhances the minions.
-
Note the base turret. Once the inhibitor turret is destroyed, the base turret is what you are now looking for. This is also where the enemy minions spawn in-game, so you should clear out the batch of minions quickly to end the game. Once you kill the base turret, you have won the game!Advertisement
