  • Question

    Community Answer
To save a contact on an iPhone, you need to first add in all the information you would like to remember, then always make sure to press the blue "done" button at the top right hand corner of the screen. Maybe you are pressing the cancel button instead?
  • Question
How can I prevent iPhone from adding 1+ to phone numbers?
    Community Answer
All the "+1" is is the international area code for the USA. If you were to call another country, you would need that country's international telephone code. If you call someone with a different area code than yours, you're supposed to dial a 1 in front of their number. Even if you're calling someone with the same area code, the 1 can't hurt. It's just a precaution. I am not sure that you can remove it without jailbreaking your phone, and a jailbreak is not only a violation of Apple terms and conditions, but also not worth it unless you are very good with complex coding and plan on making your own apps.
