  • Question
I have lots of friends at my school and I'm pretty popular, but I'd like to be unnoticed and have less stress. What should I do?
    Community Answer
I would begin by slowly easing away from any social media platforms that you and lots of people at school use. Then, in school, find a way to isolate a certain group of friends, and only stick with them. The other people who aren't as good of friends with them may slowly drift away.
  • Question
I don't want to be noticed at community college, but I also would like to join the creative writing club. Is this a good idea if I want to be invisible?
    Community Answer
You can still pass as unnoticed even if you are known to a small group, like the people in your creative writing club. If you want to join, I think you should.
  • Question
Is it unusual to not want to be near friends? That's how I've felt since I joined my new school, I would rather sit alone than with friends. I am 13.
    Community Answer
It's not unusual. You're probably just an introvert, meaning you don't like being social very much and you value your alone time. There's nothing wrong with this, but you should still make an effort to have friends. You never know when you might really need somebody.
  • Question
If you're a girl, should you cut down on the makeup?
    Community Answer
If your makeup is attention-drawing and you want to reduce the attention you get, sure. There's no need to reduce natural-looking makeup like foundation and concealer.
  • Question
I don't want anyone other than my close friends to speak to me. How can I get people to avoid me, but not in a bad way?
    Community Answer
Just be quiet and don't talk to anyone else.
  • Question
I have trouble in school, and I feel ashamed to go there, what do I do? Should I follow the 'invisible rule'?
    Community Answer
Talk to a trusted adult or the school's guidance counselor about what the trouble is that is making you feel ashamed. Chances are, many others have had a trouble very similar to yours, and there are things you can do to help feel better and move forward as a happier person.
