    Expert Answer
It's all about letting go and not caring what other people think. When you're shy and worried about how you look, your dancing can be stiff and boring. Try to switch off your brain and let your guard down.
  • Question
If I'm the choreographer, is it better to just teach the steps or be one of the performers?
    Community Answer
Be one of the performers because then the other dancers can visually see what you are doing and follow you better while you're teaching the steps.
  • Question
How do I combine steps to make choreography better?
    Anna Sekeres
    Community Answer
Make sure the moves flow together. If it feels awkward trying to do the step, change the footing. All the while, make sure you are making sharp movements.
  • Question
If I'm the choreographer can I still join the dance?
    Community Answer
    Yes, you can.
  • Question
Must I be a good hip hop dancer in order for me to choreograph a hip hop dance?
    Community Answer
It is not necessary for you to be a good hip hop dancer unless you are teaching someone the choreography that you are making. Although you don't need to be a good hip hop dancer to produce a choreography, remember, you do need to know hip hop music and moves.
  • Question
Can I say I fully choreographed a dance if I used moves I've seen in other people's choreography? Or do I have to fully create the moves myself from scratch?
    Community Answer
If you only use some of their moves and mix other moves in then it is your choreography. If you use all their moves then it is theirs.
