    Expert Answer
If you can't compromise, there’s probably some sort narrative running in the back of your head telling you it will make you weak or easy to take advantage of. I would challenge that narrative and ask yourself why you have that fear. If you can come to terms with what's causing your fear, it'll be easier to let go of it.
  • Question
This is a tricky question to ask, so I hope you understand. I don't like modern day living, so how can I convince my partner to be a farmer? Should I allow some electricity and say I will do some of his work?
    Community Answer
Sure, these are good examples of how you might compromise. The best thing to do is talk it out with him and find out any specific objections he might have and how you both can work towards finding a solution to these issues. You should definitely be willing to shoulder your share of the work, but you'll need to discuss exactly what the work will be like on a day-to-day basis. Perhaps you could talk to some farmers about their lifestyle so you'll both know what to expect.
  • Question
How can I compromise with an angry person without talking?
    Community Answer
You can't. Compromise requires communication. If the person is too angry to talk, give them some space and time to calm down before approaching them kindly with your ideas for compromise.
  • Question
What should I do if both my friend and I are natural leaders?
    Community Answer
Consider taking turns at being the "leader." For example, your friend might get to pick what activity you do one day, and then you get to pick the activity the next time. After that, hopefully you can work towards making decisions together. Also, try doing activities that you both want to do, or doing things in a way that you both agree on.
  • Question
I talked to a girl and rumors were started by my classmates. After hearing the rumours, she cried. How can I comfort her without having more rumors spread?
    Community Answer
You could take her to a confined place where it is only the both of you and talk to her there.
