  • Question

    Community Answer
Make it based on the type. Most moves are based on a Pokémon's types, so you just need to know some moves or look it up on Google. You can make the evolution any type you want, but keep one type from its prevolve. The evolution has to look similar to the prevolve in some way too.

  • Question
How to make the Pokémon look good?
    Sft46

Think of existing Pokémon. If you have a basic Pokémon with an evolution it's a good idea to design it cute. Try to abstract your animals or whatever you took as inspiration a bit. Don't keep them too close to the original.
  • Question
Can you make yourself a Pokémon?
    Sft46
    Community Answer
You can but it is hard to do. There are humanoid Pokémon, but they are not humans at all. You could combine yourself with something else. E.g. a humanoid cat, with some details of you. Also think about the correct types: Psychic represents humans (many humanoid Pokémon have this type), or fighting, if you are a fighter. Normal is also an idea.

  • Question
How would I make three starter pokemon (e.g. grass, fire, water types)?
    MythicalOwlDog
    Community Answer
Starter pokemon are always based on animals, not objects, so start with that. Try starting with the fire type, since many believe that they are based on the Chinese zodiac. Before you start though, try to come up with a theme that does not negate the types and/or designs themselves. (For example, environmental protection, etc.). Be sure to make (the base forms at least!) look friendly, deserving to be at the side of a trainer for the rest of his/her adventure! Then, make 2 more level-up evolutions that evolve at a decent level. (The most common is 16 and 36). And last but certainly not least, the gender ratio is usually 87.5% male to 12.5% female.
