  • Question
    Can I vacuum-pack these?
    Community Answer
After you follow proper procedure for cooking and dehydrating the eggs, you can vacuum seal the powdered eggs in small batches to keep it fresh for a longer period. I would also suggest as an extra precaution to add a 100cc oxygen absorber to each bag before sealing. If you also have Mylar bags, all the better! Place vacuum sealed bags in a Mylar bag, date and seal.
  • Question
If I freeze dehydrated powdered eggs and then thaw them, will they spoil fast?
    Community Answer
If the eggs are in a vacuum sealed package, then they should be fine. But if the vacuum package is opened (or if they weren't vacuum sealed), then the freezing process may add moisture, therefore logic would suggest they would spoil faster than dehydrated eggs that were (or remain) vacuum sealed.
