It's almost impossible, but the best way is to ask someone you trust who uses one already. You could also go to Reddit and do a search for something like "best youtube downloader." That way, you can see if someone else has searched for that already, and there should be recommendations on the thread. Just be sure to check the date—anything older than a year or two may be out of date.

There's an app called YouTube to MP3. Choose a song on YouTube; before the song starts, right click on it (or if you have a tablet, hold your finger down). You'll be presented with an option called "Copy." Copy that into the YouTube to MP3 app and it will start the download (it will even work if your WiFi Is down).

Some of my music has the album picture, and other music has none. How do I get all the album pictures?

You may be ripping it with VLC, or opening it with VLC. If you're opening it with VLC, VLC gets album pictures based off of the music title, even if it's not the real album picture. VLC might not have been able to get the album picture, so you can try an alternative to get the album picture you're looking for. Try kid3, which can be used to modify album pictures and metadata of music files.
