I have 6 leghorns, and they are very shy and gentle. They all hate being picked up. I have tried this but, it was not effective. What do I do?

The more you pick them up the more they will get used to it but it also depends on how you pick them up.To effectively pick one up with out scaring it, put your fingers through the legs and grab hold of both legs while having your other hand take hold of the wings while holding your chicken close to your body.
