In that case, you should be good to go! As long as you renewed before your previous membership expired (or within one year of expiration), you'll still have the same KTN. If you renewed before it expired, the renewal membership kicks in immediately after the old one expires.
  • Question
I have TSA PreCheck but keep not getting TSA PreCheck lane access on my flights. Why?

    Staff Answer
You have to provide your KTN to the airline when you book your flight. Then, you'll have a TSA PreCheck indicator on your boarding pass that allows you access to the TSA PreCheck lanes. Without that indicator on your boarding pass, TSA won't let you use the PreCheck lanes—even if you have an active membership.

TSA sends notices periodically when it's about to expire. You can also find out the expiration date by entering your information on the TSA Enrollment website. Just look for the link for existing TSA PreCheck members and enter your KTN and any other information when prompted.
