Amazon Prime covers more things, like electronic books and free shipping and special offers on some Amazon items, if those things are useful to you (unless you just get the Prime Video membership). Amazon also has a bigger selection of movies and shows, but many of them (especially most of the recent or popular ones) are not free, so you have to pay to rent or buy them, on top of paying for the Amazon Prime subscription.
